Fountain
The project concerns an extraordinary maintenance intervention on the fountain located in the centre of Arsego, in the area adjacent to the north-east side of the church, which had not been put into operation for some time due to technical problems and high management costs. The initial project for this fountain had not taken into account certain fundamental aspects which, during management, resulted in operating problems caused by various technical and functional issues, such as the frequent clogging of the filters due to the large amount of leaves falling into the water channel-cascade from the hornbeam trees above. The fountain redevelopment project provides a new solution for the water jets in the main basin, replacing a single high jet that tended to mist the water, which on days with even light wind would wet both the pavement and the road, with no. 9 five-tip column nozzles of lower height, operating in dancing mode to create water features with a much more attractive dynamic effect, both visually and acoustically. The old water channel with small waterfalls has been removed and, in its place, flower planters with corten steel basins have been created. The plants inside the basins have been carefully selected to obtain a chromatic effect and compositional variety capable of making the planter interesting in every season, while requiring simple and limited management and maintenance. Both the green area and the fountain have been equipped with an adequate lighting system, with RGB LED lights for the fountain connected to a driver that allows colour variation for chromatic effects and light displays.
